You apply a 100N force to a 20kg block. It doesn't move. Why? What is the mass? Draw a free body diagram.

    Because the force of the friction on the ground, which is pushing the opposite direction you are, is greater than your 100N force. The mass is 20kg (i think, bc it states it in the problem)
