Assume a change at the source of sound reduces the wavelength of a sound wave in air by a factor of 15. (i) what happens to its frequency?

    Frequency = wave speed / wavelength

    If f = wave speed / 1/15*wavelength

    then

    f=15 * wave speed / wavelength

    frequency is increased by a factor of 15
