What happens to the density of a gas when it is compressed?

    With density implying the ratio of mass per volume, the gas density of the balloon, therefore, modifies only with its volume when mass is held constant. If we compress the balloon, we compress the air and two things will happen : the air pressure in the balloon will increase.
