If 5b=6a+16 and 9a=7b-20, then what is the value of 3a-2b?

    5b=6a+16

    9a=7b-20

    b = (6/5) a + (16/5)

    9a=7 ((6/5) a + (16/5)) - 20

    9a = (42/5) a+12/5

    (3/5) a=12/5

    a=4

    5b=6 (4) + 16

    5b=24+16

    5b=40

    b=8

    3 (4) - 2 (8)

    12-16=-4
