If the mass of a material is 44 grams and the volume of the material is 9 cm^3, what would the density of the material be?

    Density = mass / volume

    mass = 44 g

    volume = 9 cm³

    Density = 44 g / 9 cm³ ≈ 4.9 ≈ 5 g/cm³
