Why does mercury only have a thin atmosphere

A. It's small size and hot temperatures caused gas particles to escape.

B. The high temperatures burn off the carbon dioxide and oxygen.

C. The solar wind moves past Mercury too fast to be captured.

D. It does not have enough gravity to hold the atmospheric gases.
