According to the coercive perspective, gender differences in antisocial behavior are the result of the risk factors, we have several categories: the individual ones, which are temperament, impulsivity, attention disorders, intelligence, socio cognitive abilities, then we have the familiar factors: family environment, the upbringing, relationship between parents and children, and we also have external factors such as the media, schools, friends, social groups, etc. Each gender responds differently to the same risks, and this is because parents tend to be more coercive with boys than with girls, so they can respond differently to the same risk factors because in some cases they are treated differently.
