    The Truman Doctrine was the U. S. offering aid to countries that were threatened by communism.

    The Truman Doctrine was created in 1947, by President Truman. Truman was the Vice President of the US during World War 2. He was also a World War 1 veteran. The Truman Doctrine can be interpreted as the opposite as the Treaty Versailles.
