Who provided patronage for Shakespeare's theatre group after the death of Queen Elizabeth?

    After the death of Queen Elizabeth she tacitly approved King James VI of Scotland to provide the patronage of Shakespeare's theatre group which he later on renamed into King's Men. King James VI is the son of Queen Elizabeth's sworn enemy Queen Mary of Scots.
