Why should psychology question the results of an experiment that they have conducted for the first time?

    Psychologist have a duty to question first time results for accuracy and repetitive results. They need to determine if there were any mistakes committed during the initial testing, if any outside variable contributed to the outcome, and most importantly that the outcome is the same or similar in multiple experiments.
