Explain one way that ethnic groups in the United States and Canada are similar and one way they are different

Both Canada and the United States are Diverse. In Canada we are known as the salad bowl, for example you're Italian, you are Italian first, and Canadian second. While in the United States they are the melting pot. It doesn't matter what ethnicity you are you are an American first.
