    I believe the answer is: Nonequivalent Control Group

    Even though the Nonequivalent Control Group have similar characteristic with the experimental group, the Nonequivalent Control Group wouldn't receive the treatment that given to the experimental group.

    By doing this, we could know whether the treatment is giving the desired effect or not.
