In Jane Elliott's "Blue-eyed, brown-eyed" lesson, the students were treated differently and put into "minority groups based on their eye color. As a result, the students learned how awful it is to be treated differently due to a biological attribute such as eye color or skin color. Jane Elliott was then enticed to become an activist and public speaker about civil rights. The lesson was also then video-taped and made into a movie.
