    If your inner voice begins to tell you that the people who are laughing and talking in the corner are probably making fun of your new hairstyle, you can fight back by telling yourself it was more likely that the moment you walked in the door was the exact same time that someone in the corner told a really funny joke and everyone was laughing at it. Tell yourself to go say hello to them instead because they look like they are having a lot of fun.
