Kids are affected by all kinds of things in puberity. Their hormones take affect in alot of different ways other than sexual. They tend to take advice by their friends and take criticism in a hard way as well. Their personal problems or social situations seem so much more dramatic than what they actually are. They have to decide which is the best way to handle certain situations that they have never encountered before. Most of the advice taken from friends countradict what they have heard from their parents. If they are not confident in themselves, they tend to lean towards their peers advice, since they seem to spend more time with them than their parents. Kids need extra time with their parents in these years. A close relationship with their parents can make them a little more responsible about what kind of decisions that they make.
