    The asnwer to this question is An individual will strengthen his or her initial attitude in order to seem more risky or more conservative than the other people in the group

    the social comparison theory is based on the assumption that each individuals are driven by the desire to obtain accurate self-evaluation and in order to do so, we will tend to use other people within our social group as a standard.
