    The Marxist thinkers who believed that the corporate-owned media led to the working class being oppressed were called the Frankurt School Theorists. The Frankurt School and Critical Theory was a movement that originated in Germany. This school tackled the works of Mark, Kant and Weber and were concerned on the idea of changing society.
