What branches of government were found to be necessary to run the country?

    In the writing of the U. S. Constitution the framers decided that the branches that were necessary to run the country were the executive, judicial, and legislative. The legislative body was responsible for writing the laws, the executive enforcing them and serving other purposes, and the judicial reviewing them.
