    Answer - A perceptual bias

When we observe things with perpetual bias, we have the tendency to only notice those things that we already are expecting to see, while we ultimately disregard and fail to notice the things that we aren't expecting. The effect of perceptual bias is that it leads a person to get only a partial and perhaps inaccurate impression of whatever is being observed.
