The name is the National Survey of Family Growth.

This was a comprehensive study conducted by National Center for Health Statistics which as a part of the of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention conduct. The goal was to compile and create a statistical overview on questions such as use of contraception, family, marriage, infertility and pregnancy among other things in order to better understands the trends related to these factors in the United States.
