What to do when someone in group isn't contributing?

Move to the next group and work with them

See if you can get them to work, if they don't start working you can have them leave the group. at my brothers school NTI if someone only worked on a little portion of the work then did nothing else they can get fired from the group. then they have to work alone and only get the work that they did.
