What was some of the Consequences suffered by the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence

    As Franklin said, "We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately." Some of the signers were captured by the British and executed for treason, and others had their homes ransacked and/or burned, while others died fighting for their country.
