As a young monk, Luther " was fearful that he could never do enough good deeds to deserve salvation."

Martin was born at Eisleben to Margaret and Hans Luder. He was brought up in Mansfeld, where his dad worked at the nearby copper mines. Luther was very successful being as a monk. He dove into supplication, fasting, and parsimonious works on-abandoning rest, continuing bone-chilling frosty without a cover, and whipping himself.
