The concept of risk behaviour refers to a lifestyle/actions that placed people at a certain negative risk in order to get a certain positive reward.
For example, some people ill try to mount climbing on an extreme terrain in order to get an adrenaline rush. Another example would be someone who opened up a new business by risking the loss of his/her entire fortune.

The concept of risk behavior by definition are potentially expose people to harm or important risk of harm which will avoid them in the accomplishment of their potential. Some risk behavior is normal and part of growing up. On the other hand, there is a line which when intersected mains from normal or curiosity experimental behavior to behaviors that put children and young people or others at risk and could escalate the behavior to a harmful stage. This line can be different conferring to societal standards. It should be recognized that even though children and young people may not be aggressively contributing in behavior, observing or being exposed to the behavior can have an influence on their own behavior, as peer association can effect in participation.
