Should college athletes be paid to play or not?

I personally think college athletes should be paid to play because this is their profession and they'll be able to use the money they earn to support their families. It may also limit corruption from external influences.

The yo should be paid due to the fact that’s most people in college teams are really good and work their butt off, it would nice for them to earn money.
