Upper class women were often depicted as more inferior to men than the lower class women because of the limitations of the things that upper class women can do. Upper class women considered their status and often just stays at home, learning essential skills for an upper class woman, while lower class women were able to do difficult labor than upper class women.

Context wise, lower class women tend to have more knowledge and tend to learn and explore more things and skills due to the fact that they were never assigned a limitation to the things that they are doing. They are often having difficult jobs on where they can learn from.
