In the politics of the United States the Iron Triangle is the relationship which comprises the policy-making among the congressional committees, the bureaucracy and interest groups. This is a unique relationship exclusive to the three parts and this results in the mutual benefit of all three of them. However, problems can still arise from the Iron Triangle.
