    In this context, fixation refers to the persistence that displayed by individuals in order to achieve a certain goal.

    In order to achieve this, we need both mental set (so we can focus on which goal we want to achieve) and functional fineness (so we can make discpline efforts to do what need to be done to achieve the goal
