What are 2 ways cells divide, and what are the similarities/differences bettween the 2

Meiosis: Will happen when an egg and sperm will meet together and fertilize.

Mitosis: Cells divide and replicate in order for the body to grow and repair.

Mitosis: Starts off with one cell, and results in two daughter cells. Both still have the same number of chromosomes. There are five stages of mitosis.

Meiosis: Starts off with one cell, and results in four daughter cells. All only have half the number of chromosomes. I think there are 9 stages ... ?
