According to the Great Compromise, each state in the United States was to have 2 senators and population of the state would determine the amount of representatives. The correct answer is B.

I believe the answer is: B) Each state had two senators and population determined the number of representatives.

This compromise was seen as fair because states with larger population tend to have more adult legal citizens who had the right to vote.

Because of this, the number of representatives that these states have would also have to be more compared to states with fewer population.
