    The answer is b. Where labor was plentiful and therefore cheaper

    well actually the raw material also became one of the reasons, because they could get it a little bit cheaper outside the U. S but it mainly because of the large quantity and cheaper workforce

    American company can pay down to only 25 % of the average American wage, if they move the plantation to south east Asia, they only need to pay about 12 % of average American wage
