Answer: Although forbidden prior to Georgia becoming a royal colony, wealthy planters began importing slaves into the region. As a result, the number of large plantations along the sea coast grew rapidly from 1750 to 1775

Explanation:

This resulted in the huge number of flocks of planters & their slaves flooding into Georgia & soon they dominated the colony's government. In 1755, the slave code was replaced but this 'code was amended' in 1765 & again in 1770. In between the time frame of 20 years, about 60 planters who owned roughly half the colonies, rapidly increased the slave population & thus dominated the market of the low country Georgia's rice economy.
