Answer B. Continuity theory best describes Frank's behavior.

    Explanation:

Every individual ages and experiments major changes in various aspects of his/her life such as the physical, psychological and social aspects, amongst others.

The continuity theory was proposed by George Maddox in 1968. It centers on the idea that older adults (middle - aged) should refocus their activities centering on the abilities they still posses, it is a form of adapting.

Individuals tend to try to carry out the same activities they did most of their life so as to avoid certain anguish about losing abilities through aging. So, this theory suggests that the person can continue carrying out activities but to the extent of their abilities.

In this case, Frank does not have the same strength to handle heavy pieces of carpentry but instead of continuing or giving up on it, he redirects his abilities and focuses on working with smaller pieces so as to still maintain his work but in a way he can fully commit to it.
