It is important to have a goal or an objective to walk towards, but during the process a lot of lessons are learned and there is a satisfaction on the step by step of achiving the goal.

    Explanation:

Without goals or objectives, life can become meaningless, that is why it is so important. For instance getting a degree, and having good grades or passing obstacles can feel fine and then getting the degree would be the most satisfactory. It is important the process to get there, because the time spent getting there is longer and it gives a sense to life.

One can say that there is no destination without a goal, but the the process getting there is meaningfull.
