Empathy is an underlying factor for the 21st Century Learning & Innovation Skills. Give an example of how to develop empathy in children and others.

    In psychology, empathy is the the ability to sense the emotions of other people, it is coupled with the capability to imagine what other people might be feeling or thinking.

    In other words, people understanding how others are feeling or experiencing.

    There are so many confusions, so much work and so many variations in the world, empathy can be considered as the 21st century important skill to stimulate the intellect and create problem solving skills and foster social and emotional balance.

    Empathy can be developed in children and can be practiced - - read out loud with emotion, have child make up new ending (perspective taking), creating puppets, collaborative learning or by reading artwork.
