d) Imagine this neuron is stimulating the ocular muscle that can move your eye at very fast rates and hence fires at the rate of ~100 times per second. Does this off rate make sense for this system? Why?

    The off rate of 100 times per second would not make sense for this system because it is too slow; thus the neurotransmitter would not be as effective, and only a few signals or ligands would be severed from the receptors which exist in many varieties; this would cause the nerve to remain depolarised.
