    D - Voluntary simplicity

    Explanation:

Voluntary simplicity involves a lifestyle that minimizes material goods consumption and the search for wealth as much as possible. This lifestyle is also referred to as the quiet revolution, simple living or simple life. This lifestyle is aimed at avoiding complications that come with the pursuit of wealth and reduce the negative effect unnecessary consumption of goods could have on the environment.

Material needs are made available as simply as possible, reducing costs acquired on purchase and also, creating time to lead more meaningful lives, not involving monetary items.

People who lead these lives, intend obtaining more time and freedom to go about other life goals like availability for family, social engagements, artistry, love and so on, all of which do not necessarily need money. There is therefore, an acceptance of low income in exchange for a life that has value other than monetary value.
