Kara was always a very curious child with a keen interest in human behavior and psychology. In April 1996, Kara graduated with an advanced degree in criminal psychology. In a short span of time, she made her way to the ranks of the FBI. She encountered many types of criminals on the job. In 2002, Kara was working on a case that involved a terrorist who used particularly brutal methods. This case shook Kara up. She started developing severe mood swings and sleeping disorders after her supervisor assigned her this case.
