    Explanation:

    The tribes that were removed and forced to move westwards were the tribes of Cherokees, Seminole, Choctaw, Chickasaw, and Creek. They were removed from the lands of Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi. The then United States Government believed that to develop the said areas for the American citizens to live, it was necessary to remove the aboriginals from the lands as they would prove a hindrance in the development of the lands.
