Cedric's uncle si subscribing to a funcionalism perpective.

    Explanation:

This prespective considers racism and discrimination as positive, because this view overlook all members of society and benefits a smal group. Racism and discrimination are there for benefits for the dominang group, which it is often not the majority of society.

Funcionalism sustains that one race, for instance white men, are better or beyong other races. This perspective is supposevly funcinalist under the believe society would work better if racial boundries are sustained, because this considers even economic benefits, specific jobs according to their race. The division of labor marked by an idea of race from dominant groups, again is a benefit for only for them.
