The following are the ways in which scientific methods can be applied in real life outside the classroom: The crank and pulley method can be used for pulling heavy objects over flat and inclined surfaces. The use of lever can be made to open tight lids or to simply displace heavy objects from their place. The use of pressure cookers can be made to cook food quickly and consume less energy. The use of a nozzle can be made to increase the pressure of the water while washing and doing other allied activities.
