This is because the patriarch in Ghana deals with the male gender being generally accepted as the dominant force in all spheres of life. This is as a result of their traditions and custom beliefs making a provision for that. This makes the female gender answerable to the male gender and the male gender also tends to asserts some authority and power which makes the women vulnerable.
