Consider the relationship between the Powhatan Native Americans and Jamestown colonists. What role did this relationship play in the challenges & successes of Jamestown?

    Powhatan Native Americans and Jamestown Colonists had a hostile relation with each other thus, causing atrocities against each other. Colonists had an insatiable thrust for power and land this lead Powhatan to truce of sorts. Colonist captured Powhatan's favorite daughter Pocahontas and married her John Rolfe. However, after their marriage their relationship did change for better.
