    Power-control theory is the theory that talks about patriarchy. It talks about gender inequalities. Hegan involved with this theory in her early days. The position of power in the office related to the position of power in the family. She told that males were predominantly were employed outside.

    Females were delegated to take of the children at home. In the patriarchal families males focus outside their work and females were to look after children. Mother has more focused on a daughter than a son. This theory reveals that the daughter was more control by the mother than a son. Son got chances to work outside and take risk but girls do not.
