Acts 8:1-4 persecution along with Stephens martyrdom caused the people to scatter, preaching the word wherever they went.

In Act chapter 8 verse 1-4, it was recorded that after the death of Stephens, the early church suffered persecution in Jerusalem, this caused the early converts of the church to scatter abroad and in the process continued to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ wherever they went.
