The results of Accounting Principal's latest Workonomix survey shows that the average American worker spends $1092 on coffee annually. This is according to The Consumerist (January 10, 2012).

However, this survey also demonstrated that there are differences among various age groups. Americans who are in the 18-34 group, as well as those in the 34-44 group spend more on coffee than the 45 + group. It also shows that there is less variation in spending as we go from younger to older consumers of coffee.
