    Forensic Social work is about linking social work to issues related to law and justice. In a broad sense, it includes the practice of the Social Worker who, in some way, relates to legal issues and legal proceedings, in the areas of criminal, civil, family and minors. An example of this is the work developed by Social Workers in the Commissions for the Protection of Children and Youth at Risk (CPCJ), Multidisciplinary Courts Advisory Teams (EMAT), Judges of Peace, Educational Centers, among others.
