    Based on the graph, the following issues can be said to be facing social security in the future:

    - Americans are growing older.

    - A lower percentage of citizens will be paying payroll taxes.

    - Benefit payments will rise over time.

    Explanation:

    In a few years from now, the United States will be no longer as young as it is today. The demographics will change themselves to increase the population of old people over young people more than ever. As the number of earning people would reduce, the number of people paying payroll taxes would automatically reduce. The benefit payments given by the government to the underprivileged because of oldage or poverty will increase gradually as the population of the United States turns older and older with time.
