Carolina studies mainstream American culture. One of her colleagues notices that she consistently ignores material objects, such as food, clothing, and art. Why might her studies be criticized?

    These objects are crucial parts of culture that influence how we live our lives.

    Explanation:

    A culture represents the social behaviour and norms which can be seen in different societies. Factors such as common beliefs, rituals, foods, clothing, arts, holidays, events, festivals etc make up the different cultures of the world. To study the different cultures in details, all aspects which make up a culture need to be studied.

    As Carolina was not studying some of the material objects which make up the culture of a society hence her studies would be criticized.
