Under the articles of confederation, how was power divided between state and the national government

Under the articles of confederation, power was decentralized and the central government depends on approval from the state government to act on issues. The state governments were powerful and sovereign while the national government was weak and depended much on the states. the power of the national government was exclusively centered in the Congress and the congress is made up of the states and each state had a single vote on national issues.
